Join Us in welcoming Dawn Carpenter to NextGenCFO

Dawn is an accomplished financial executive who has the ability to think ‘beyond the CFO role’ to help create value for owners. She has had significant experience leading cross-functional teams across various businesses to solve complex problems.

She spent 5 years as a CFO in a middle-market firm in the Triad, as well as 12 years with Syngenta, including an international assignment in Basel, Switzerland. Previously, she worked with a large multinational pharmaceutical company while starting her career with Deloitte.

Dawn’s skill set includes business planning, financial planning, and working capital and cash flow improvement, as well as the ability to handle senior financial matters, such as banking relationships and optimizing the debt/equity structure. She has experience with HR and IT, and has evaluated benefit plans for multiple companies, assisted with insurance renewals and risk management and led software implementation upgrades. 

Dawn has the ability to transfer knowledge and skills learned from one business to another by tailoring solutions with a customized approach. She has a Master’s Degree in Accounting and serves clients in both the Triad and Charlotte areas.
